Mizuno ST-G - Driver
Mizuno's compact, powerful driver for better players combines the ambition to optimize launch and spin with the high ball speed from Mizuno's CORTECH Chamber. Two rails with movable weights allow your ST-G to be a low-spin monster, fade or draw weighted, or simply a more stable and compact driver.
"ST-G 440cc is very stable in the category of compact driver heads. Adding Mizuno's CORTECH Chamber has increased our ability to create more consistent ball speed across the entire clubface."
DAVID LWELLEYN – DIRECTOR OF R&D MIZUNO
CORTECH CHAMBER – The Missing Piece: Mizuno's CORTECH Chamber encapsulates a stainless steel weight in elastomeric TPU, reducing tension on the clubface and creating an additional energy source. At the same time, it moves the weight closer to the clubface to reduce spin and contribute to a more solid, powerful feel at impact.
Max Converging Fast Track: Two weights that can be moved to more extreme positions to achieve settings for ultra-low spin to medium-low spin.
Compact 440cc Profile: An inviting, modern pear shape that sits entirely square in the neutral setting.
New Beta Rich Ti LFS: ST-G has a new, lighter and faster material in the clubface that is 9% stronger (compared to SAT2041) for a complex clubface geometry with varying thickness. Tour tests show an average increase in ball speed of 1.5 mph compared to SAT2041.
More carbon fiber in the clubhead's toe: More carbon fiber in the toe section provides a lighter clubhead and greater adjustability of ball flight.
Tour-tested sound: A combination of Mizuno's CORTECH Chamber and internal reinforcements provides a more solid feel and sound at impact in all weight settings.
Quick Switch Hosel: 4-degree adjustment capability to set both address and ball flight.
