At his California Putter Studio, Scotty Cameron has been designing, milling and building putters that perform under the world’s most demanding conditions for the game’s greatest players. With the Special Select line he’s taken another step forward in a decades-long career creating the finest in milled steel putters. Created specifically to offer the same sleek, classic shapes preferred by touring professionals, each Special Select model has been designed and milled in the USA to the same exacting performance specifications demanded by our game’s greatest players. Performance balanced weighting expands on Scotty’s use of customizable sole weights to tune putter performance and feel at all lengths. While overall putter head weights remain unchanged, the incorporation of tungsten for the blades and stainless steel for the mid-mallets produces a larger sweet spot and enhanced stability in each model. Returning to the roots of sound and feel, each Special Select model is designed and milled in the United States from a block of solid 303 stainless steel for legendary performance and playability with consistent sound and soft feel.

Crafted with the same Tour-inspired precision milled mechanical lines as its Newport 2 counterpart, the Special Select Newport 2.5 features a small slant neck configured to offer 3/4 shaft of offset with a view-enhancing setup that enhances toe flow. With refinements made to every facet, this model continues its design evolution with an insert-free, solid stainless steel putter head milled in the USA. Featuring a flatter, narrower topline and tungsten sole weights for a larger sweet spot and soft tri-sole milling for effortless setup, the Special Select Newport 2.5 incorporates the line’s mid-milled face pattern and elegant Tour-inspired “cherry rings” reminiscent of legendary title-taking models.
