The new Scotty Cameron Studio Style Fastback OC is a modern mid-mallet built for golfers seeking exceptional alignment, balance, and feel. The innovative Open Center (OC) design removes excess material from the cavity, redistributing weight around the perimeter for increased stability and forgiveness through impact. Crafted from 303 stainless steel with a precision-milled SCS (Studio Custom Shop) face insert, the Fastback OC produces a soft yet responsive feel preferred by tour players. The dark, black anodized alignment inlay contrasts against the steel body to provide a clear visual aid for improved accuracy.
Engineered for golfers with a straight-back, straight-through stroke, this model offers exceptional forgiveness and balance through impact. Finished in a misted steel tone with updated tour-preferred graphics, the Fastback OC blends modern aesthetics with classic Scotty craftsmanship. The OC putters also include a custom KBS x Scotty Cameron blacked out shaft with optimal flex, unimpeded alignment and precise feel.
Low-torque design: Scotty Cameron OC putters feature shaft placement set back from the leading edge (Onset) and in line with the putter head’s front-to-back CG (Center). This minimizes torque and creates a square feel for golfers looking to eliminate face rotation.
Heavier head weight, custom shaft and grip: New OC models offer connection to the putting stroke through 10-gram heavier head weights (compared to standard Scotty Cameron models) and a custom black shaft with flex properties designed to match the weight increase without dulling feel. OC putters are also equipped with a tapered Matador Mid grip.
Minimal shaft lean: OC putters feature one degree of shaft lean, promoting a neutral setup and a natural hand position familiar to many of the best putters in the game. The subtle shaft lean also delivers unimpeded topline views at address.
